India position in commonwealth games 2022

 Commonwealth Games, which started on 28 July, ended on Monday. From India's point of view, these games should be very special where many players created history, many made records and the whole country continued to encourage them. Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu's journey started with gold and ended with hockey's silver medal.

India was participating in these games for the 18th time. 104 men and 103 women participated from his side. This player managed to win 61 medals. India won 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals. Men won 35 medals and women 26 medals. He finished fourth behind Australia, England and Canada.

India got the maximum 12 medals in wrestling, in which six goals, one silver and five bronze medals were won. For the first time, the country managed to win a medal in lawn ball (one gold, one silver). He did his best in athletics and badminton.

Last year, India had won 66 medals in the Gold Coast Games. Out of these, 26 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze medals were won. Then India got 16 medals from shooting which was not a part of the Games this time. In such a situation, the performance of this time is very special for India.
