On the occasion of Children's Day, Google announced the winner of the Doodle for Google 2022 India. Shlok Mukherjee from Kolkata is the winner for India for his inspirational doodle titled 'India on the Center Stage'.
Doodle for Google: Google on Monday announced the winner of the 'Doodle Contest 2022' for Google in India. Kolkata-based Shlok Mukherjee has been declared the winner for his motivational doodle 'India on the Center Stage'. The doodle of Shloka is being displayed on Google.co.in for 24 hours on 14 November 2022. Shlok is a student of Delhi Public School in New Town Kolkata. The Doodle for Google 2022 contest was organized by the worldwide tech giant Google.
Sharing his thoughts about the doodle, Shlok said, “In the next 25 years, scientists in my India will develop their own eco-friendly robots for the betterment of humanity. India will have regular space travel from earth to space. India will grow more in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda and will be stronger in the years to come
In a release, Google Doodle said, "We were amazed by the creativity and imagination the students brought to their entries and were especially pleased that the progress and sustainability of technology emerge as common themes in many of the Doodles." This year's judging panel includes actor, filmmaker, producer and TV personality Neena Gupta; Kuriakose Vassian, editor-in-chief of Tinkle Comics; YouTube creator Slaypoint; and, artist and entrepreneur Alika Bhat, and the Google Doodle team. ,
The jury was to select 20 finalists from across the country based on the criteria of artistic merit, creativity, alignment with the competition theme, and uniqueness and innovation of approach. Meanwhile, the global winner of the 2022 Doodle for Google contest is Sophie Arag-Liu from Florida, United States. Sophie's illustration of the title 'Not Alone' is very impressive. The Doodle for Google contest aims to encourage creativity. This year's contest received over 115,000 entries from children in classes 1 to 10 from over 100 cities across India.
